Murcia al Vino 450g
Murcia al Vino, also known as La Cabra Borracha (The Drunken goat) is a spanish hard goats cheese that has been macerated in red wine for two to three days. This gives the cheese an unusual purple rind along with a beautiful red wine flavour that combined perfectly with the slightly tart, but creamy and buttery goats cheese to produce a truly unique cheese.
Murcia al Vino has been awarded a PDO status, meaning that it must be produced using milk from particular Murcian goat breeds. The most well known of which being the Murcian-Granadina said to be the producers of the highest quality milk.
