From Catalonia To Wales

Olives&Oils was born over 20 years ago in the mountains of Northen Catalonia near the small fishing village of L'ampolla. When My father moved to Spain we traveled to visit him at his Finca, Olive Trees lined the driveway to the finca and from that momwent onwards, Olives&Oils was born.

The Finca

This Photo is of the finca itself near the small fishing village of L'ampolla. Upon arriving at the finca in late November, we instantly recognised the large amount of Olives that were being harvested around my father's home. He explained to us thatthe Olive harvest was underway and that the majority of the olives were to be turned into Extra Virgin Olive Oil. From here on we followed the Olives journey from tree to bottle.

We travelled around Barcelona to many Olive oil producers, sampling their oils and gaining a basic knowladge of how Olive Oil varies and also of its many health benefits.

Olives&Oils is born

After several visits to the finca we began selling the oils in the food markets across South Wales, to compliment the oil we decided to start selling a small collection of fresh olives and so Olives&Oils is Born

Our Mumbles Deli

And so in late November 2006 we took the leap and opened our Deli in Mumbles. We greatly expanded our range of products introducing cheese, charcuterie, chutneys, wines and so much more. Since we opened our doors in 2006 we have become one of the most notable stores in the village. Over time we have grown our collection of products and opened our online website selling our products nation wide. To this day the story of Olives&Oils continues
