Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and cream. Burrata mean ‘buttered’ in Italian. The outer shell of the cheese is mozzarella and the inside is succulent and soft from the mozzarella and cream combination. It’s delicious with salad, prosciutto, fresh tomatoes with olive oil and cracked black pepper, or pasta.
