This tarragon mustard from artisan producer Edmond Fallot is made using mustard seeds, verjuice, and fresh tarragon leaves. The seeds are carefully milled and sieved to create a smooth Dijon-style mustard with a distinctive, piquant flavour.
Ideal for balancing rich meats, its aromatic tarragon notes also complement fish and work beautifully in vinaigrettes. It can be used to make a crayfish cocktail by combining crayfish, tarragon mustard, and a little mayonnaise, or to create a flavourful dressing for a goat’s cheese salad.
Edmond Fallot’s heritage dates back to 1840, when Léon Bouley established a mustard mill whose products quickly gained acclaim, even earning recognition at the 1903 Great International Exhibition in Paris. Today, the company continues to use traditional stone grinding methods, ensuring the seeds are not overheated and the mustard retains its authentic depth of flavour.
