Seggiano Calabrian Fig Ball.200g
Our deliciously soft baked fig ball is rich with liquorice and caramel flavours. Juicy Dottato figs from Calabria in southern Italy are baked and preserved in the traditional way. Fresh figs are picked from the tree when they are well matured, and dried. Later, slowly cooked in their own juices, they are shaped into balls and wrapped in fig leaves. The slow baking brings out the rich, caramel flavours. Slice our delicious fig ball and serve pieces with ice cream, soft pecorino cheese, fresh ricotta or a wedge of provolone piccante.
