The Strianese production was started in 1987, by the Rega family, who have been preserving tomatoes for over fifty years.
The famous Italian plum tomato, famed for their sweetness and full tomato flavour, longer and thinner in shape these are the DOP type so sourced from a small region between Naples and Salerno.Grown in volcanic soil these tomatoes are considered the very best.
Widley used for sauces and pizzas they provide the richness that's makes a big difference.
