The Cote De Duras is a winemaking area just to the East of the much more famous Bordeaux region. The climate, common grape varieties and techniques of winemaking are very similar to Bordeaux, often giving very similar wines but at better value, and this wine is no exception.

It is made from the Sauvignon Blanc variety - creating a crisp, dry white wine.

Dry, crisp wines work well with cheese as the acidity cuts through the fatty nature of the cheese. This white wine works very nicely as a base for fondue as well as for accompanying a cheeseboard.
