Italian Mostarda de Cremona (Mustard Fruits) 400g

Mostarda is a traditional Italian "agrodulce" (sweet and sour) condiment, most famously produced in Cremona, in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy. Vergani makes their Mostarda from peaches, pears, clementines, papaya, kiwi, and preserves these in syrup with the essential mustard essence. Traditionally paired with braised, boiled or cured meats and fresh or aged cheeses.

In the second picture we have served it with Creamy Burrata and a mature Pecorino Romano .. the combination of the savoury mustard with sweet fruits is a delightful combination and really makes for special cheese board.
