Gjetost (Gudbrandsdalen Mesost) 250g
Gjetost is a truly unique Norwegian cheese.
Goats and cows whey are boiled down for hours, caramelising their natural sugars and giving this cheese a deep, sweet, caramel flavour, and fudge-like texture/ appearance.
Often it is sliced thinly, layered on waffles or toast and eaten for breakfast. It is sometimes also used to make fondue and paired with a game.
