Produced in Parma, CaseificioUgolotti has been producing Parmigiano since 1930.The Ugolotti Dairy  produces only 16 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano every day,the Parmigiano Reggianoproduced here is a  natural product to which no preservatives,dyes or chemical additives are used. 

Full of flavour and texture this is a real taste of tradition and age.

A particularly favourite of ours is to serve with aged balsamic vinegar , this brings the best of two beautiful Italian products together for a fantastic outcome.

Often used for grating over classic dishes like  risotto, pasta, or salads the uses for Parmigiano Reggiano are diverse. 

Parmigiano Reggiano is an Italian hard, granular cheese produced from cow's milk and aged at least 12 months,our example here has that added ageing time which enhances the flavour,aroma and texture, It is named after the producing areas, the provinces of Reggio Emilia, Parma, the part of Bologna west of the Reno, and Modena.

Parmigiano-Reggiano is one of the most versatile cheeses to pair with wine. It can handle white or red, sparkling or still. Crisp but richer wines are perfect.

We would recommend either our Lambrusco(DOC) or our fabulous Pinot Grigio.
